Hatch

The Hatch Project in Tooting Market enabled volunteers to run a business hub and community internet cafe. The project teamed up experienced business people with young entrepreneurs to mentor and support them. Our young volunteers were also given the opportunity to apply for small grants in order to develop and pilot their own business ideas in a ‘Dragon’s Den’ style competition. The winners created the Silkworm entrepreneur’s fair in April 2012, which showcased the best of new ideas and business talent.
